Reading Buddies and Game Day

Yesterday we went out for our first visit with trees we will get to know well by year's end. One tree of study is a conifer and another is deciduous. We will find out what those big words mean. Our Students of Yesterday and Today captured some pictures.

 Today we met our Reading Buddies in Pre-K. It was so fun to finally get to be the reading buddy instead of the listening buddy.  What a bunch of cuties.

It is so hot that the water brigade had to head back to the garden this afternoon and give our plants a big drink!

This afternoon we practiced our "ail" rime and many of the onsets we've studied all week. In addition, Mrs. Paris gave us one we hadn't had and we transcribed a sentence.  She was so surprised at what good spellers we are.  Those practice pages were practically perfect!

GAME  ON!!
