First Day

Whew, it takes awhile to get all of those supplies where they go, but we are off to a great start.
Today we did some painting.
Ask me about mixed media. This project helped Mrs. Paris learn about me. You will have to check it out when you are at school.

We learned that a waxy crayon resists the watercolor.

Even a little spill in the creek didn't stop our fun for long.

Wow, look at this very interesting fossil find!

We found Mrs. Paris' favorite creek critter- a mud puppy, with a very long wounded tail.
Have you ever tried face painting with creek paints?  It is fun to find as many colors as possible.

So very many things to do in the creek.

Wow, a very special pair of visitors.  We loved getting an opportunity to pet the yet to be named parish puppy.

You can click on the pictures to see them in a larger format.
Perhaps tomorrow we will find out what thermochromatic pigment does.
