Fall break is here, yippee!
Up till now we've been working hard.
The weather was cooler, but we still were able to get out a lot and work on our dinosaur projects.
Our artist of the month was Monet. We made lilly pads.
Followed by tissue paper lillies.
Even w hen it rains, we get out for a bit.
We are whipper snippers,
We're in luck,
If it rains all day,
We'll pretend we're ducks.
Mrs. Davis-Rapier showed us another experiment with copper sulfate used to make a sparkler.
The time finally arrived to present our dinosaur projects. Everyone did an awesome job!!!
We hid little dinosaurs in concrete dough to make fossils. We went out early Thursday to hide the fossils. Both Mrs. Polston and Mrs. Dennison brought their kids out and we met our buddies. We found the fossils and showed our new friends the books we made them. Our little friends were thrilled to excavate their tiny beasts from the fossils. There just isn't anything much better than the wide-eyed wonder of a four year old.
And the last group of amazing presenters. You can see evidence of our celebration for the money raised for our first service project- blue teeth and lips.
We learned a lot and had a lot of fun.
Now off to more fall break fun.
