Changes In Latitude

 We've been learning about latitude and longitude this week and getting more familiar with where we are in world.

We used an orange to draw the equator, the 45 N and 45S lines of latitude.  We then opened the orange and discovered nature made longitude lines.  Mrs. Jones asked us if this project was "appealing."  We thought it was in more ways than one.

We needed play dough for a space project next week, so we made yummy smelling, pretty colored play dough with Kool-aid. 

It was a busy week. We did not get as much cooperation from the weather, so spent more time indoors and masked than usual. However today was perfect and the best day for being in the creek. So fun!

Hopefully, we'll all be able to be back in class next week!
