Here we are at the place where my second grade wildlings become third graders. As folks came by, all the weeks ago, to pick up a work packets, I hoped that it would just be those three weeks and we'd be back in the classroom.
It wasn't to be.
More packets needed to be made and we all tackled this brand new situation the best way we could. I learned to do a lot of things technologically speaking, that I had not done before. I learned that my teaching skill lies in reading faces and coming up with a new plan. Not being able to see faces really took the joy out of learning for me. However, I saw lots of other learning taking place in families and that made me smile big.
Certainly, it will be a year we will never forget.
I loved watching all the learning and growing that went on during this 2019/20 year. I hope our summer is healthy and joyful. God Bless us everyone.
